Illustrations by Mehrdad Zaeri

The illustrations in the book are made by the Mannheim artist Mehrdad Zaeri and can be ordered as art print (DIN A2) for 50€ each. The proceeds will be donated to the Heidelberg Puppentheater Plappermaul (children' s theatre).

About the artist:

Mehrdad Zaeri-Esfahani was born in Isfahan/Iran on August 1970.
At the age of fourteen he emigrated with his mother, father, brother and two sisters to Turkey and later to Germany. After finishing secondary education in 1992, he decided to become an artist. Today he lives with his wife Christina in Mannheim, works on his art and "likes this life which is always good for a surprise".
